I've had a few angels in my life — people who truly saw me for who I am, who recognized my value without conditions. But I've also had people who only showed up when it was convenient for them, who used me, who loved me only when they wanted something. And the hardest part? Some of them were the closest family I had.

I let so many opportunities pass. I let other people's fears become my own — fears that were never mine to carry. I held myself back because of voices that had no business living in my head.

But here's what I've learned: you have to keep going. No matter what. No matter how many times you fall.

Other people have a support system. I have my two legs and two arms — and that has been enough. I've had people who should have cheered me on laugh at me instead. And I decided that was unacceptable. Their laughter became my fuel.

I will always be who I am — even when people try to take my shine away. I refuse to let anyone dim my light, whether they approve of me or not, whether they support me or not.

Empodera Tu Glam was born from that refusal. It's for every woman who has been underestimated, unsupported, or made to feel like she needs permission to be great.
