Meet Claudia — Founder of Empodera Tu Glam

I’m Claudia, a 32-year-old Latina from Mexico who learned early that no one is coming to rescue you — so you become your own rescue.

Growing up, my dad wasn’t around. Siblings drifted away. Close family — the ones who were supposed to be your biggest cheerleaders — were often the first to clip my wings before I could fly. I passed up so many opportunities because I listened to other people’s fears and mistook them for my own.

Life taught me early: no one is coming to rescue you. So I became my own rescue.

I learned to be resilient. Tough. A fighter. I figured things out alone because I had to. And yes — sometimes it’s lonely. Sometimes I wish things had been different, for me and for my kids. But I’ve made peace with it, because that journey made me me.

My mom showed me what it means to be a strong, hardworking woman — and even though her fears held her back, she gave me the foundation to break that cycle.

So I did.

Empodera Tu Glam was born for every woman who has ever felt alone, unsupported, or underestimated. If someone told you that you can’t — I’m here to tell you that you can. If you fail, shake it off and dream again. Never stop.
